He's not asked to be a 1st or 2nd option here. He just gets the easy buckets with alley hoops and putbacks and anchors the defense which he's at least above average at.

His strengths are highlighted and his weaknesses are mitigated with this team.

Can't help but have a fuzzy, happy feeling seeing Luka catch up with his old teammates post game. Especially Kyrie. 23-24 Mavericks is the most fun I've ever had watching basketball. Crazy that they had the two most entertaining players ever on the same team.
